Choosing Your Response Style

Response styles (also called “tones”) control how the Knowledge Assistant formats and presents information. Different styles are optimized for different audiences and use cases. You can change the response style in the settings menu at any time.

Balanced, analyst-style responses written for institutional investors and financial advisors. Bridges crypto complexity with traditional finance concepts using a calm, authoritative tone.

Paragraph length: 1-3 sentences maximum
Data presentation: Markdown tables with proper formatting
Language: Precise financial terminology, explains crypto terms when introduced

  • Leads with conclusions, then supports with evidence
  • Uses numbered lists for complex arguments
  • Connects crypto concepts to traditional finance parallels
  • Takes clear analytical positions rather than hedging
  • Frames volatility in context of long-term thesis

Concise

Direct and efficient responses for time-pressed professionals who need answers quickly. Gets to the point immediately with minimal context.

Target length: 100-200 words
Structure: Direct answer first, then supporting bullets
Omits: Background context, extended explanations, repeated information

Concise Style Characteristics

  • States the answer in the first sentence
  • Uses bullet points instead of paragraphs
  • One idea per sentence, maximum two sentences per paragraph
  • Includes only data that directly answers the question
  • Assumes the reader understands the basics

How to Change Response Style

Click the settings icon in the chat interface and select your preferred style under “Response Style”. The change takes effect immediately for new messages.

Administrators can also configure the default response style for all users in the Admin Console → Prompts section.
